🚀Request to Upgrade to Latest Firmware Version R10.0.11.5
  • 🛠️HID continues to release regular service pack firmware updates for the Signo Reader platform, introducing new features, enhancements, and ongoing improvements. The HID Reader Manager application provides a straightforward way to update readers to the latest available firmware.

  • To help customers take advantage of these enhancements and keep their systems aligned with the latest capabilities, we recommend upgrading HID Signo readers to firmware version R10.0.11.5 using:

    • HID Reader Manager v1.32.2 (Outside of China)
    • Tencent Store v1.32.3 (China Region)

    within the next 30 days.

  • 📌Staying current helps ensure the best overall experience with Signo readers and Reader Manager, including optimal performance and a smooth firmware upgrade process.

  • 📌We appreciate the continued support and partnership of our customers and integrators.

HID Reader Manager App Deprecation Notice
  • 📍Please be advised that older versions of the HID Reader Manager mobile application will be deprecated in phases:

🔍China (Tencent Store)

  • 📱Android Versions:
    • 1.32.2 and earlier will be deprecated effective May 20, 2026
  • 📱iOS Versions:
    • 1.32.0 and earlier will be deprecated effective June 17, 2026

🔍Global Regions (Excluding China)

  • 📱Android & iOS Versions:
    • 1.32.0 and earlier will be deprecated effective June 17, 2026
  • 📌This deprecation is part of HID’s ongoing application maintenance strategy to ensure continued delivery of secure, reliable, and up-to-date functionality.

  • 📌Customers who install a supported version of the HID Reader Manager app will continue to be able to upgrade HID Signo and HID iCLASS/multiCLASS readers without interruption.

  • 📌We appreciate your continued partnership and support.

Release Notification for HID Reader Manager version 1.31.0, scheduled 8 months ago

New Features:

  • Mix and Match (Seos):

    • Mix and match keys across different credentials — Seos plastic cards, Mobile Admin, Mobile Access, Reader Admin, and wallets (Apple & Google) — when configuring iCLASS & multiCLASS SE readers.
  • CSN for Vento:

    • Enable CSN output format for HID Vento readers via RM app.
  • Seamless Incident ID Creation During Reader Operations:

    • Incident ID Creation in real time during Inspections, Config Updates, and Firmware Upgrades operations.
  • Technology update:

    • Integrated the Mobile Event Logger for Android, enabling future migration from Mix panel.

Resolution for:

  • Fixed issue so Dorado Prox cards can be read by Signo readers when enabled via the RM app.
  • Text corrections in the app to represent correct functionality.
  • When mobile device language is set as Traditional Chinese, the RM app UI will be in English.

Apple Wallet Issue on iOS v26

  • Apple Wallet users with iOS v26 are experiencing issue in login with SSO to get their pass.
