🚧IT Planned Maintenance Notification – Oracle Critical Security Updates in Production

SUMMARY

  • 📍A planned maintenance window has been scheduled for the HID Oracle EBS Production on 📅July 11, 2026 between ⏳02:00–08:00 UTC.

IMPACT

  • 🛠️During this maintenance window, customers may encounter temporary disruptions in processing and generating orders, along with the following services being impacted.

    • ⚠️Oracle Analytics Cloud
    • ⚠️Webshop access to EBS
    • ⚠️Oracle Isupplier, ODI, OMS, WOS,MCS, SB and other related services that render data from EBS will be unavailable.

  • 📌New Reader Firmware Support

  • 📌SP12.3 (HID Signo Readers): -- Reader technicians can upgrade HID Signo readers from any supported firmware version to R10.0.12.3 using the Reader Manager application.

  • 📌Rev2.9 (HID iCLASS SE / multiCLASS SE Readers): -- Reader technicians can upgrade HID iCLASS SE and multiCLASS SE readers from any supported firmware version to R8.10.2.9 using the Reader Manager application.

Additional HID Signo Reader Management Features:

  • 📌OSDP Firmware Upgrade: -- Configure HID Signo readers to receive firmware updates over OSDP via connected controllers.

  • 📌Expanded Credential Support: -- Added support for reading Random UID (ISO14443) credentials on MIFARE Classic cards using HID Signo readers.

  • 📌iOS App – Key Capacity Increase: -- Reader technicians can now view and use up to 100 authorized keys within the iOS application.

  • 📌User Experience Improvements: -- Enhanced user interface for Search and Apply DCID features, providing a more streamlined and intuitive experience.

🛠️ Issues Fixed

The following issues have been resolved in this release:

  • ✅TTP #19545: Certificate pinning implemented.
  • ✅TTP #19464: Display BLE settings for iCLASS and multiCLASS SE Reader firmware version vR8.9.2.1 and earlier.
  • ✅TTP #17987: Enable firmware and configuration update for readers configured with multiple MOB Admin keys.
  • ✅TTP #17784: Change Password guidelines in the Reader Manager app have been updated in accordance with the revised AAA requirements.

Intermittent BLE Connectivity Issues Affecting HID Mobile Access App & HID Origo SDK, scheduled 3 months ago

  • To ensure optimal performance and implement bug fixes, please update your apps and devices to the latest available updates.

📍 Notice from HID

  • HID is aware that some users may experience intermittent BLE communication issues affecting foreground and/or background operation of the HID Mobile Access app and the HID Origo SDK on certain mobile operating system versions.

📍 Current Status

  • HID has been actively investigating the behavior and working closely with the appropriate parties to identify and address the underlying cause. A fix is expected to be available in an upcoming software update.
  • In the meantime, HID continues to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

SUMMARY
  • Planned maintenance for the HID Origo Mobile Identities APIs supporting Apple Wallet and Google Wallet customers in Production.

DATE & TIME
  • March 21 (Saturday) between 05:00 to 10:00 UTC

REGIONS AFFECTED
  • US

IMPACT

During this maintenance window, customers using Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, OIP, and Bridge may experience brief interruptions when accessing the HID Origo Mobile Identities APIs.

  • The following wallet-related provisioning and lifecycle operations may be temporarily unavailable, including (but not limited to):

    • Issuance token redemption
      Tokens may not redeem via the HID Mobile Access App or Web Push provisioning.

    • Wallet provisioning
      In-app and Web Push provisioning for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.

    • Credential lifecycle actions

Already-provisioned credentials are not expected to be impacted.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
  • Intermittent failures may occur.
  • Retry attempts may succeed as services are gradually restored during the maintenance window.

RECOVERY
  • All services will automatically resume once maintenance is complete.

SUPPORT
  • If issues persist beyond the maintenance window, please contact HID Support via your standard support channel.
