🚀 Release Notification for Card Customization Portal

What's New

  • 📢We are excited to introduce our new Custom Customization Portal, a streamlined digital experience designed to simplify the way customers submit custom credential projects. Customers can now create an account, initiate new projects, upload artwork, select credential features and capabilities, and securely submit requirements all from a single, centralized platform. This new experience provides improved visibility, faster collaboration, and a more efficient project submission process.

Impact to Customers

  • 📍The new portal makes it easier than ever to request custom credentials by replacing manual phone and email-based submissions with a guided, self-service workflow. This enhancement helps accelerate project initiation while providing greater transparency throughout the credential development and fulfillment process.

Limitations

At HID, we strive to provide best-in-class service and continuously improve the experience for our customers. At launch, customers who already have an existing portal account will not be able to enroll in the Card Customization Portal service using that same account. We recognize this may be an inconvenience and are actively working on an enhancement that will allow existing portal users to access this service in the future. In the meantime, customers who would like to explore or test the new experience may create a new portal account using a different email address. Please note that accounts cannot be merged, and project data, history, and permissions will remain separate between accounts. We appreciate your patience as we continue to expand and enhance the portal experience and look forward to making this capability available to all existing portal users in a future release.
