HID Reader Manager Application update from 1.18 to 1.19, scheduled 8 months ago

Summary

Mandatory upgrade to 1.19 in order to continue operation on or before March 31st 2024.

  • Enhancements include improved security of the application and reader configuration.

  • For readers with Elite / MOBkeys - The Reader Manager Administrator will Allow/Disallow enablement of Legacy Credentials on iCLASS SE Readers to a reader technician through the Reader Manager Portal.

  • For readers with standardkeys, technicians will have to request HID Technical Support to enable legacy credentials and or configuration cards.

Impact

  • Update to 1.19 to take advantage of these enhancements.

Shutdown of HID Origo Mobile Identities API version 2.0

API 2.0 Retirement: As previously communicated, API version 2.0, which has been deprecated since September 17, 2022, was retired on February 29, 2024.

Transition to Newer Versions: We encourage you to upgrade to version 2.2 to continue to receive full support, including upgrades, updates, bug fixes, and hotfixes.
