🚀Request to Upgrade to Latest Firmware Version R10.0.11.5
  • 🛠️HID continues to release regular service pack firmware updates for the Signo Reader platform, introducing new features, enhancements, and ongoing improvements. The HID Reader Manager application provides a straightforward way to update readers to the latest available firmware.

  • To help customers take advantage of these enhancements and keep their systems aligned with the latest capabilities, we recommend upgrading HID Signo readers to firmware version R10.0.11.5 using:

    • HID Reader Manager v1.32.2 (Outside of China)
    • Tencent Store v1.32.3 (China Region)

    within the next 30 days.

HID Reader Manager App Deprecation Notice
  • 📍Please be advised that older versions of the HID Reader Manager mobile application will be deprecated in phases:

🔍China (Tencent Store)

  • 📱Android Versions:
    • 1.32.2 and earlier will be deprecated effective May 20, 2026
  • 📱iOS Versions:
    • 1.32.0 and earlier will be deprecated effective June 17, 2026

🔍Global Regions (Excluding China)

  • 📱Android & iOS Versions:
    • 1.32.0 and earlier will be deprecated effective June 17, 2026
  • 📌This deprecation is part of HID’s ongoing application maintenance strategy to ensure continued delivery of secure, reliable, and up-to-date functionality.

  • 📌Customers who install a supported version of the HID Reader Manager app will continue to be able to upgrade HID Signo and HID iCLASS/multiCLASS readers without interruption.

  • 📌We appreciate your continued partnership and support.

HID Origo Management Portal HID Origo Portal MFA codes not being delivered

UPDATE RESOLVED - The SMS provider has identified an issue with their primary routing to North American and some APAC affected regions. This has been fixed and users should be receiving their MFA codes via text messages quickly again. Please contact HID Support if you are still encountering difficulties in this regard.

SUMMARY Origo Management Portal is currently experiencing issues in with the delivery of Multifactor Authentication Codes via text messaging to Administrators. As a workaround, please use the "To get the code via email, please CLICK HERE." link above the Authentication Code field to receive the MFA code via email. HID is investigating the issue and will provide updates on this incident as they are available.

Origo services affected by AWS outage

** UPDATE ** (10:42 pm UTC) RESOLVED - All backlog events at the cloud service provider have been processed and all services are fully recovered and operational.

** UPDATE ** (9:55 pm UTC) HID's cloud server provider has resolved all affected services and is working on processing the backlog of asynchronous event invocations that accumulated during and since the outage. The backlog is expected to be fully processed within the next hour. All HID Origo services are currently operational but some delays in events may occur due to the backlog at the cloud service provider.

** UPDATE ** (8:53 pm UTC) HID alerts have started clearing and Origo services have resumed operation. The cloud service provider is observing a sustained recovery and continues to monitor the situation, as do we. This incident notification will remain in "Watching" status until the HID receives an "all clear" from our cloud provider.

SUMMARY

HID is aware of the current issues with HID's cloud service provider's EAST region that is affecting the availability of HID Origo services. Our team is in contact with cloud service provider and monitoring the situation closely.
