📢 HID Origo Bridge Client Update Available (v2.5.7.1386)

Dear HID® Origo™ Bridge Customer,

  • 🚀 We have released an updated version of the HID Origo Bridge Client (v2.5.7.1386).

📍 What Changed?

  • This update addresses an issue related to a change introduced in a third-party cloud authentication service used by Bridge. The change impacts the authentication process used when Bridge connects to HID Origo cloud services.

📍 Impact

  • Currently running Bridge services are not affected.
  • However, any Bridge instance running a version earlier than v2.5.7.1386 may experience authentication failures after a service restart.
  • Affected instances may be unable to successfully reconnect to HID Origo cloud services.

📍 Recommended Action

  • To avoid potential service disruption, we strongly recommend updating all Bridge installations to version v2.5.7.1386 as soon as possible.

    • 📅July 25th 2026 from ⏳04:30 to 05:30 UTC on EU region.

IMPACT

  • 🛠️During this maintenance window, connected architecture application and Linq Cloud may experience brief periods of disruption.

    • ⚠️Connected Architecture: System administrators are requested not to perform any credential/lock/controller related operation.
    • ⚠️Linq Cloud: Avoid new gateway installation / onboarding, firmware upgrades

The services are restored and operational. We are continuing to monitor the situation and investigating additional reports of continued impact.

23 January 2024 22:45 UTC - The cause of this incident has been identified and we are working on the fix and to restore services to full capacity.

SUMMARY

HID Origo Management Portal is currently operating at reduced functionality. We are working to address the issue as soon as possible and will provide updates on an ongoing basis until resolved.

IMPACT

*HID Origo Management Portal: Users may experience issues and/or delays in Invitation Code and Mobile ID management.

*HID Origo Mobile Identities API: Users may experience issues and/or delays in Invitation Code and Mobile ID management. Wallet users not affected.

*HID Mobile Access App: Users may experience issues redeeming Invitation Codes or receiving Mobile IDs

*HID Reader Manager App: Users may experience issues redeeming Invitation Codes or receiving Keys
