  • During this maintenance window, following services may experience brief periods of disruption, such as:
    • HID Origo Mobile Identities API (Google Wallet Only): Card Bundle creation or Credential Issuance for Google Wallet will not work.

  • To ensure optimal performance and implement bug fixes, please update your apps and devices to the latest available updates.

📍 Notice from HID

  • HID is aware that some users may experience intermittent BLE communication issues affecting foreground and/or background operation of the HID Mobile Access app and the HID Origo SDK on certain mobile operating system versions.

📍 Current Status

  • HID has been actively investigating the behavior and working closely with the appropriate parties to identify and address the underlying cause. A fix is expected to be available in an upcoming software update.
  • In the meantime, HID continues to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

  • HID Reader Manager is planning to deploy following enhancements for business purposes in production on Sept 30, 2024 between 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM UTC .

Firmware upgrade for SE readers (R8.10.2.7) which includes

  • Resolution for BLE Smart module bricking intermittently.
  • Improved security with automatic SNMP key rolling during firmware upgrade.
