Intermittent BLE Connectivity Issues Affecting HID Mobile Access App & HID Origo SDK

  • To ensure optimal performance and implement bug fixes, please update your apps and devices to the latest available updates.

📍 Notice from HID

  • HID is aware that some users may experience intermittent BLE communication issues affecting foreground and/or background operation of the HID Mobile Access app and the HID Origo SDK on certain mobile operating system versions.

📍 Current Status

  • HID has been actively investigating the behavior and working closely with the appropriate parties to identify and address the underlying cause. A fix is expected to be available in an upcoming software update.
  • In the meantime, HID continues to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

Infrastructure Maintenance - Production

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on April 26th,2026 between 03:30–05:30 UTC.

IMPACT

  • During this maintenance window, following services may experience brief periods of disruption, such as:
    • HID Origo Mobile Identities API (Google Wallet Only): Card Bundle creation or Credential Issuance for Google Wallet will not work.

HID Reader Manager App Versions Below 1.23.0 Will Be Obsolete by April 7, 2025, scheduled 1 year ago

SUMMARY

  • A critical update is mandatory for continued operation of the Reader Manager App. Please notify all reader technicians as soon as possible. Starting 04/07/2025, all versions older than 1.23.0 will no longer function.

The following versions will continue to be supported:

  • HID RM App 1.24.1
  • HID RM App 1.24.0
  • HID RM App 1.23.0
