Linq Cloud 1.3 release

SUMMARY

  • We are excited to announce the upcoming release of Linq Cloud 1.3 on September 30, 2025.

Deployment Window:

  • Date: September 30, 2025

  • Time: 04:30 AM – 6:00 AM UTC (Approx. 1.5 hours)

  • User Impact: During this period, users will not be able to access Linq Cloud.

What's New in This Release?     

  • Easier Device Management: View your devices in a clear hierarchy (Linq Gateway → Edge Device → Reader) to quickly identify controllers and connected readers.
  • Seamless Gateway Updates: Linq Gateway now updates automatically in the background with less manual steps required.
  • Simplified Gateway launch: We have removed the master password, just use your RT / RM Credentials for a faster, smoother login experience.

HID Origo Mobile Identities API HID Mobile Access App for Android - Tencent Store Unavailability (China)

UPDATE - 31 May 2023 HID Mobile Access application version 4.0.3 has been released for the Tencent stores and has been successfully republished by Tencent.

SUMMARY HID Global is aware that Tencent removed the HID Origo Mobile Access application for Android from their store on Friday, 19 May 2023, without prior notice to HID. HID has since been informed that Tencent requires a change to the End User acceptance of the Terms of Use. We are diligently working on the necessary changes to provide an updated application to Tencent for approval and subsequent publishing. Further updates will follow, as soon as possible, regarding the new release date for users in China.

IMPACT HID Mobile Access App for Android (China)

HID Origo Management Portal HID Origo Management Portal - SSO enrollment

SUMMARY Origo Management Portal is currently experiencing issues for customers trying to setup SSO functionality for their Portal accounts. The issue is due to an expired certificate and only affects accounts trying to enroll SSO. A new certificate will be rolled out on 1 June 2023 to resolve this. Customer accounts already enrolled for SSO are NOT affected.

IMPACT SSO Configuration service is experiencing disruptions.
