Infrastructure Maintenance - HID Authentication Service

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on May 13th, 2025 between 01:00-01:15 AM (UTC) for up to 15 minutes.

REGIONS AFFECTED

  • Europe East (DE)

IMPACT

During this maintenance period, the HID Authentication Service and all following services or solutions that require it to function may be unavailable for up to 15 minutes. However, we expect them to be inaccessible for less than a minute.

  • HID Origo Management Portal: Users may experience issues logging in to the portal.

  • HID Origo Mobile Identities API: Users may experience issues getting authentication tokens and see intermittent HTTP 401 errors.

  • HID Reader Manager Mobile App: Users may experience issues logging in to the Reader Manager app.

  • HID Origo Identity Positioning API: Users may experience issues getting authentication tokens and see intermittent HTTP 401 errors.

HID Reader Manager App Versions Below 1.23.0 Will Be Obsolete by April 7, 2025, scheduled 1 month ago

SUMMARY

  • A critical update is mandatory for continued operation of the Reader Manager App. Please notify all reader technicians as soon as possible. Starting 04/07/2025, all versions older than 1.23.0 will no longer function.

The following versions will continue to be supported:

  • HID RM App 1.24.1
  • HID RM App 1.24.0
  • HID RM App 1.23.0
