Intermittent BLE Connectivity Issues Affecting HID Mobile Access App & HID Origo SDK

  • HID is aware that some users may experience intermittent BLE communication issues affecting foreground and/or background operation of the HID Mobile Access app and the HID Origo SDK on certain mobile operating system versions.

đź“Ť Current Status

  • HID has been actively investigating the behavior and working closely with the appropriate parties to identify and address the underlying cause. A fix is expected to be available in an upcoming software update.
  • In the meantime, HID continues to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

Infrastructure Maintenance - Production

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on April 26th,2026 between 03:30–05:30 UTC.

IMPACT

  • During this maintenance window, following services may experience brief periods of disruption, such as:
    • HID Origo Mobile Identities API (Google Wallet Only): Card Bundle creation or Credential Issuance for Google Wallet will not work.

HID Reader Manager Version 1.30.0

Product Update Summary

New Signo firmware version – Support firmware update to and configuration update for the latest HID Signo reader firmware (10.0.10.4) and for Signo v2.1.

Technology Update – Mobile framework updated from Xamarin to MAUI (Multi-platform App UI) for better app management and for future proofing the RM app with deprecation of Xamarin.

Enhanced BLE signal strength visualization – Made changes to the Reader discovery via BLE with the signal strength visualized as icon in addition to indicating the dBm value.

Resolution for:

  • Custom Profile mismatch error correction in app UI.
