HID Reader Manager App Deprecation Notice
  • 📍Please be advised that older versions of the HID Reader Manager mobile application will be deprecated in phases:

🔍China (Tencent Store)

  • 📱Android Versions:
    • 1.32.2 and earlier will be deprecated effective May 20, 2026
  • 📱iOS Versions:
    • 1.32.0 and earlier will be deprecated effective July 9, 2026

🔍Global Regions (Excluding China)

    • 1.32.0 and earlier will be deprecated effective July 9, 2026
  • 📌This deprecation is part of HID’s ongoing application maintenance strategy to ensure continued delivery of secure, reliable, and up-to-date functionality.

  • 📌Customers who install a supported version of the HID Reader Manager app will continue to be able to upgrade HID Signo and HID iCLASS/multiCLASS readers without interruption.

  • 📌We appreciate your continued partnership and support.

🚀Request to Upgrade to Latest Firmware Version R10.0.11.5
  • 🛠️HID continues to release regular service pack firmware updates for the Signo Reader platform, introducing new features, enhancements, and ongoing improvements. The HID Reader Manager application provides a straightforward way to update readers to the latest available firmware.

  • To help customers take advantage of these enhancements and keep their systems aligned with the latest capabilities, we recommend upgrading HID Signo readers to firmware version R10.0.11.5 using:

    • HID Reader Manager v1.32.2 (Outside of China)
    • Tencent Store v1.32.3 (China Region)

    within the next 30 days.

🚧IT Planned Maintenance Notification – Oracle Critical Security Updates in Production

SUMMARY

  • 📍A planned maintenance window has been scheduled for the HID Oracle EBS Production on 📅July 11, 2026 between ⏳02:00–08:00 UTC.

IMPACT

  • 🛠️During this maintenance window, customers may encounter temporary disruptions in processing and generating orders, along with the following services being impacted.

    • ⚠️Oracle EBS Production
    • ⚠️Oracle Agile Production
    • ⚠️Oracle Analytics Cloud
    • ⚠️Webshop access to EBS
    • ⚠️Oracle Isupplier, ODI, OMS, WOS,MCS, SB and other related services that render data from EBS will be unavailable.

  • 📌SP12.3 (HID Signo Readers): -- Reader technicians can upgrade HID Signo readers from any supported firmware version to R10.0.12.3 using the Reader Manager application.

  • 📌Rev2.9 (HID iCLASS SE / multiCLASS SE Readers): -- Reader technicians can upgrade HID iCLASS SE and multiCLASS SE readers from any supported firmware version to R8.10.2.9 using the Reader Manager application.

Additional HID Signo Reader Management Features:

  • 📌OSDP Firmware Upgrade: -- Configure HID Signo readers to receive firmware updates over OSDP via connected controllers.

  • 📌Expanded Credential Support: -- Added support for reading Random UID (ISO14443) credentials on MIFARE Classic cards using HID Signo readers.

  • 📌iOS App – Key Capacity Increase: -- Reader technicians can now view and use up to 100 authorized keys within the iOS application.

  • 📌User Experience Improvements: -- Enhanced user interface for Search and Apply DCID features, providing a more streamlined and intuitive experience.

🛠️ Issues Fixed

The following issues have been resolved in this release:

  • ✅TTP #19545: Certificate pinning implemented.
  • ✅TTP #19464: Display BLE settings for iCLASS and multiCLASS SE Reader firmware version vR8.9.2.1 and earlier.
  • ✅TTP #17987: Enable firmware and configuration update for readers configured with multiple MOB Admin keys.
  • ✅TTP #17784: Change Password guidelines in the Reader Manager app have been updated in accordance with the revised AAA requirements.

IT Planned Maintenance Notification – Oracle EBS Production, scheduled 8 months ago

SUMMARY

  • A planned maintenance window has been scheduled for the HID Oracle EBS Production. As part of scheduled maintenance, the HID Origo Portal and HID Origo Mobile Identities API will undergo a partial outage as detailed below, while all other services will continue to operate normally.

IMPACT

During this maintenance window, customers may encounter temporary disruptions in the following services.

  • Order Processing – New orders placed will be delayed with fulfilment
  • Key Management (Mob/Elite Key) – Adding the new /remove the key
  • Contract Processing – New / Add-on/Renewal contract will have impact on processing
  • Organization Onboarding – Org creation and edit may have issues
  • Replenishment - Replenishment orders may be stalled and there will be delay in fulfilment
  • Org Account Setup – An administrator attempting to log in for the first time to a newly created organization without any key association will not be able to log in

Multiple Origo Production outage due to AWS service down

The global issue with Amazon Web Services (AWS) has been resolved, and all services are now fully operational.

However, the Oracle EBS systems remain unavailable, resulting in a complete outage affecting the following services:

  • Order Processing: Fulfillment of newly placed orders may be delayed.

  • Key Management (Mob/Elite Key): Adding or removing keys may not process as expected.

  • Contract Processing: New, add‑on, or renewal contracts may experience delays.

  • Organization Onboarding: Issues may occur while creating or editing organizations.

  • Replenishment: Replenishment orders may be stalled, leading to fulfillment delays.

Our teams are actively collaborating with the IT department to restore full functionality as soon as possible. Further updates will be shared as more information becomes available.

  • An underlying issue with AWS has caused service instability, leading to an outage and intermittent disruptions across multiple Origo services. The impact was observed in several functional areas where connectivity and response times were affected. We are closely working with AWS and ETA will be ~1 hour 30 Minutes.

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID origo mobile identities on 19-October-2025, 07:00 AM UTC to 12:00 PM UTC.

IMPACT

  • In the US Region, we are currently performing maintenance on the HID Origo Portal and APIs. During this time, you may experience intermittent access issues. We are actively working to resolve the situation and will provide an update once services are fully restored.
